Allandale Waterfront GO

Temporary bus stops located on Essa Road

Due to continuing construction at Allandale Waterfront GO, the temporary GO bus stops will remain on Essa Road near Gowan Street. Here’s what you need to know:• For customers travelling southbound to Union Station, the temporary bus stop is on the west side of Gowan Street. • For customers travelling northbound to Barrie Transit Terminal, the temporary stop is located at the corner of Gowan Street and Essa Road. • The pedestrian walkway via the Barrie Allandale Transit Terminal (Allandale Waterfront GO) is available for customers accessing the temporary street stops from the station side. • Access to the station and the passenger pick-up and drop off area from the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Tiffin Street remains closed. The and the station remain available from the main entrance on Lakeshore Drive. • Please follow all directional signage and use caution when moving around construction areas. • Construction changes may affect how you move around the station. Do not walk on the tracks—it is both dangerous and illegal. Be sure to allow extra time to navigate around the station due to ongoing work.
