AccessGO is a free, accessible real-time GO Transit departure tracker for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. This policy describes what information is collected when you use the AccessGO website and mobile app, and how it is used.

Information We Collect

Location

The mobile app and website may ask for your location to find nearby GO Transit stations. Your location is used only to perform that lookup and is never stored on our servers or shared with any third party.

Favourite Stations (mobile app)

The mobile app stores your saved favourite stations locally on your device using your device's storage. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Server Logs

Like most web servers, our server automatically records standard access log information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. These logs are used solely for diagnosing technical problems and are not linked to any personal identity.

Cookies and Tracking

AccessGO does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. No analytics services, advertising networks, or third-party tracking scripts are active on this site.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Departure data is sourced from the Metrolinx GO Transit Open Data API. AccessGO is not affiliated with or endorsed by Metrolinx.

Children

AccessGO does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
